DURHAM REGION–The Durham Region Association of REALTORS® (DRAR) would like to extend a warm welcome to Ian Smith of RE/MAX Ability Real Estate Ltd, as DRAR’s 2013 President. Joining Ian on the Board of Directors are; Christine Marquis, Immediate Past-President; Jane Hurst, President-Elect & Durham Centre Director; Claire Marsh, Durham North Director; Kathy McFadden, Durham East Director; Laurel McHale, Durham West Director; Tony Wilson, Director-at-Large; and Tamie McLaughlin, Director-at-Large.
Ian has been in the Real Estate profession since 1987. He obtained his Broker’s license in 1991 and has been the Broker/Owner of his own Real Estate office since 1993. Ian served as DRAR President in 2004 & 2005, Past-President in 2006 & 2007, continuing to sit on the board for 2008, 2009 & 2010 as well as Chair of the MLS® Committee for many years. He has been active with TREB’s MLS® Committee and OREA’s Green Tide Committee.
